Geographical and demographic situation
Bangkok is a city located in the river delta Bye Praia, about 40 km from the Gulf of Siam. The metropolis of Bangkok was a former French colony in the late 17th century. It was officially handed over on December 1, 1687 by the King of Ayutthaya. After the fall of this king, King Thaksin moved the capital to Tonbourg. He was overthrown by a coup and replaced by General Chakra. This is the chakra dynasty that still dominates in Bangkok.
