Here are the Gazelles of the National Ambassador of 2022: Multi Clever Trade, PMSweet and ADS H24 – companies

Multi Clever Trade, PMSweet and ADS H24 this year became the national winners of Wallonia in the categories of large, medium and small companies. Agristo, Sereni and AsterX Dranken were awarded in Flanders.

During the 21st edition of the Gazelles in Brussels, Wallonia and Flanders, at least 33 companies were recognized in three months in three well-known categories: large, medium and small. At the end of the tour, which began in March in Brussels and led us to travel around the country, we returned to the capital for the coronation of national, Walloon and Flemish ambassadors. A detailed portrait of them, as well as portraits of all the provincial ambassadors, can be found in this week’s Guide des Gazelles Trends-Tendances in your magazine.

This issue noted the companies that recorded the highest growth in the period from 2016 to 2020. Some of them have already been noted in recent years, and sometimes more than once. But if we find steadfast, new companies appear. The health crisis that began in the spring of 2020 has indeed shaken the situation, and therefore the tables.

The national ambassadors of Wallonia in 2022 are Multi Clever Trade (large), PMSweet (medium) and ADS H24 (small). Three women from Liege who succeeded Oda, Luazo and Mertens-Mati, respectively. Multi Clever Trade, better known as Easy Clothes, has been selling women’s ready-made clothing online since 2014. Sprimontoise started by putting a few clothes up for sale on Facebook. Eight years later, the company sells between 800,000 and 1 million units a year, mostly through e-commerce, but also through two stores in Liege and Louvain-la-Neuve.

Also founded in 2014, PMSweet produces macaroni and exports it worldwide. Leaving its workshop located in the center of Liege, six years ago on a larger production site in Vienna, PMSweet has grown 10 times between 2016 and 2020, increasing from 1.7 to 18 million euros. Progress that is far from complete, as our ambassador has just invested in a 15,000 m2 building in Timisoara. Finally, the ADS H24 mini-marketing store, founded in 2010 and active in the Grand Liege, has seen steady growth since its acquisition in 2018, leading to a reorganization and investment in more efficient vehicles.

There are three winners in Flanders: Agristo (big)producer of french fries, croquettes and other potato-based preparations; Serena (average)which unites about fifty funeral directors; AsterX Dranken (small), wholesaler of beverages. Although offside for the national title, we will also mention Winners from Brussels this year: Obelis (big)an office specializing in European regulation; EnergyVision (medium)green energy supplier in Belgium, as well as in Morocco and China; Zensor (small)an additional VUB product that has developed innovative technology to detect corrosion of materials.

Off-Road Gazelles …

This year, gazelles are better distributed throughout Wallonia. However, the two economic bastions, which are the provinces of Liege and Hainaut, still lead with 23 representatives for one and 17 for the other. But this figure shows a slight decrease compared to the 2021 harvest, when the two provinces hosted 27 and 20 companies, respectively, leaving only a few crumbs for their counterparts. In 2022, the distribution is more balanced, as there are 10 Brabant, 6 Namur and 4 Luxembourgers against 8, 2 and 3, respectively, a year earlier.

Among the 60 Gazelles presented in three categories, we see, as we have said, the emergence of new faces. Surprise? And yes and no: we know that in large companies, many companies are accustomed to running fast in any weather, thus demonstrating their ability to overcome difficult times. Resistance, which, of course, can be shown by medium-sized companies, and small even less. 2022 partially abolishes this rule with a completely new podium among the middle ones, crowning here also three residents of Liege: PMSweet, Congress Hotel Van Der Valk Liège and ECDC Logistics. Moreover, in this table only Luazo, Phoenix and Roberti were already present in 2021. This update shows the good health of our growing companies, but is also a consequence of the 2020 pandemic for some. Also note that three companies are moving from medium to large: Sud-Fresh, Liège Cargo Agency and Brasserie Caulier.

What else to notice? As for the classic variety of activities that has characterized Gazelle in recent years, we must add the fact that they are not only running faster and faster, but also constantly … This is the case, for example, with our three national ambassadors. Thus, Multi Clever Trade never sleeps with a constantly open website, PMSweet is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the ADS H24 helps drivers in trouble at any time.

This also applies to other companies such as Pharmasimple, Sud-Fresh, Liège Cargo Agency or even Nurse & Co. As for those who have a rest, do not trust them too much, they sleep only with an open eye and are always fast. take advantage of business opportunities. This makes one wonder whether these fast-growing cheetah companies are hiding …
