Moon knight One of the main cards (Moon Knight) was an actor Ethan Hawke one of the most famous actors of the modern stage. Hawke played Arthur Harrow, the villain of the story, unlike Mark Spector/Stephen Grant played Oscar Isaac. In a series marked by visual and psychological games, Oscar Isaac himself Arthur Harrow doubles up covering different roles in his registry. Both actors distinguished themselves so much that they became, perhaps, the highlight of the series. Hawke’s recent statements have cast doubt on his participation in the series.
Ethan Hawke gave an interview in IndieWire in which he talked about his relationship with Moon knight and his possible involvement in a viable second season. While that’s likely, it’s unclear how long that might last. This is consistent with other comments regarding Marvel Cinematic Universe. The quality and audience for which their products are usually addressed.
During the interview, the actor said: I shouldn’t talk about it. I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement with Marvel Studios, but I’m not interested in long-term commitments. The end of the first season Moon knight was opened, with Arthur Harrow in roles still part of the narrative. From the answer, one feels that he may return, but not for long.
Ethan Hawke and his thoughts on the Marvel Cinematic Universe
As part of an interview looking at various aspects of Ethan Hawke’s career, the actor was asked about the controversy surrounding the film Martin Scorsese on the quality of Marvel Cinematic Universe content. Hawke said:
If people like Scorsese and (Francis Ford) Coppola don’t come out and tell their truth that there are more important things than making money, who will?
In response, journalist Eric Cohn pointed out that the aforementioned directors have made quite a bit of money in the industry, suggesting that their comments about the Marvel Cinematic Universe come from a somewhat privileged position. To this Ethan Hawke replied:
It’s easy for them, but there has to be someone in the community who says, “Hey, everybody, this isn’t . . .” Fanny and Alexander. If you keep watching these movies that are actually made for 14 year olds like them when it comes to Fanny and Alexander and winter light so who can… winter light ? We would like to thank the referees for reminding us that the bar should not be set too low. I know some people think I’m pretentious, but I’m not.
Interest in Moon Knight
During the interview, the actor told how he became interested in the history of Europe Moon knight. All this from a conversation with my daughter, Maya Rae Thurman-Hawk who is one of the main characters Other people’s things. The actress had to ask him about his perspective on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and ask him to build his own vision of working in this narrative. The actor described it as follows:
Maya told me: Why are you sitting outside telling everyone their sandbox is bad? Why don’t you go to their sandbox, play with them and show them what you have to offer? I said to Oscar Isaac, we should go play in the Marvel sandbox and try to do what we do. We shouldn’t change Marvel. We just want to show them what we can do and see if they’re interested. So we had a lot of rehearsals and worked on things a lot. We had a very good experience.
