Look up at the sky and you will see life-size photos of Patrick Forget’s La belle Industrie.
They will be seen in Piazza Boualandri, in the city center, in Europe Square and at the SNCF station.
The Community of Communities (Cdc) project is simple, it promotes the development of industrial entities in the territory. In the portraits you can see the companies, their names, activities and photos of the employee.
A total of 18 companies agreed to play the game. For L’Egl Mayor Philippe Van Horn, “it is important to allocate a production plant, material and human resources.” Joy and excitement could be read on the faces of those present when they revealed themselves in the photos.
With this project, manufacturers hope to attract new employees by presenting the industry from an aesthetic point of view.
Director of Axil and binomial industry Kirill Guillemin says that the companies have a “lack of image.” He regrets that “the image of the person in front of the car is preserved” and emphasizes innovations that diversify positions and professions. For him, the industry is “the future. They are connected to the world. “
According to Cyril Guiman, “the ecological transition will be industrialized” is the future of all, and it is important to bring these professions to the heights of the territory.
Among these companies are very old companies that have already established themselves in the area, such as Boisthorel in Paradise or Bohin in France in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle. Employees of companies such as Florent, advocate for a variety of professions and
company structure. A series of portraits glorifies traditional or modern machines and the workers present. Occupations rooted in the territory are now available to all.
The mayor hopes that a series of photos aimed at making the area more attractive and making it a “good living area”.
